We’re a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves kind of group, and we invite participation from the broader Earth science data community. You do not have to be affiliated with an ESIP Partner organization to take part in ESIP activities.

Get Involved as an Individual
Feel like you’re the only “data person” in sight? Like no one else speaks your language?
You might be the only one at your agency, lab, or institute who’s working with environmental data and computing, but there are hundreds of others just like you—and they’re here at ESIP.
Our partners come together (both virtually and in person) to explore, discover, share, and innovate. There’s no official membership required; no dues have to be paid.
Just dive into the opportunity that most excites you.
Get Involved as an Organization
Many of ESIP’s individual participants also belong to an organizational Partner of ESIP.
Our organizational Partners are diverse and represent industry, government, academic, research and not-for-profit organizations. The connecting thread is a strong desire to further Earth science data, computing, and technology through open collaboration.
